Barrier Sack is an environmentally friendly sand-less sandbag. Lightweight, easy to store and requires no filling. Activated in water in under 5 minutes. 

The Barrier Sack outer bag is made from pure natural jute, with a 100% cotton inner. The filling content is super absorbent polymer (SAP) crystals which is non-toxic and biodegradable.

At approx. 60cm x 40cm and weighing just 500g, unactivated Barrier Sack are flat making them easy to store, transport and handle. Packaging intact and stored in a cool, dry place, Barrier Sack have a 15-year shelf life*.

This ensures you can have them on hand ready to use for emergencies in particular home and commercial water damage prevention and flooding. No more lining up for hours to access sandbagging stations.

To activate Barrier Sack, simply submerge in water using a bucket/wheelbarrow/bathtub for 3 – 5 minutes. Barrier Sack will “inflate” (by absorbing the water) to between 20-25kg’s. Watch our short video on activating Barrier Sack on our YouTube channel.
