ABOUT ENVIROMASTER

EnviroMaster is delivering products and processes that make Australasia cleaner, greener and safer.

[L–R] EnviroMaster’s Phil Tingey and Wayne Loane.

EnviroMaster is the Australasian licensee of ‘Thermochemical Conversion Technology’ (TCCT), a unique process that destroys asbestos fibres; and the sole distributor of ‘Barrier Sack’, a 100% biodegradable sand-less sandbag which prevents flooding and water inundation.

EnviroMaster was founded in 2016 by Phil Tingey and Wayne Loane.

For over 30 years, Phil has lived and breathed business.

At the age of eight, he took on his first venture – after finding a discarded pallet of marbles in his father’s workshop, he sold these throughout the community to buy sporting equipment for his school.

Through trade qualifications and employment both nationally and internationally, Phil has developed an extensive background in specialist materials handling and engineering solutions. A particular focus on the design, manufacture, installation and servicing of overhead and workstation cranes lead him to found TNC Cranes in 2008.

Under Phil’s leadership, TNC Cranes achieved ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management Systems accreditation and was awarded Central Highlands (Qld) Business of the Year in 2015.

Amassing over 2,000 ‘hooks on the books’, Phil sold TNC Cranes in 2019 to focus exclusively on EnviroMaster.

Wayne has been at the forefront of product development and innovation for over 20 years.

In the late noughties, he developed ‘Aussie Skip Bags’, a recyclable, polypropylene waste disposal bag which weighed no more than a shopping bag, but could hold the equivalent weight of a commercial metal skip bin. This, combined with their economical selling price and the availability of an online platform for ordering bags and booking pickups, ensured they were a home renovators delight.

The rollout of ‘Aussie Skip Bags’ led him to develop a safer and easier way to dispose of hazardous material, in particular asbestos. In 2011 he launched ‘Hazibag’, a flexible intermediate bulk container which is UN approved for Packing Groups II and III.

Following the success of ‘Aussie Skip Bags’ and ‘Hazibag’, Wayne developed and launched ‘Barrier Sack’, a 100% biodegradable sand-less sandbag designed as a safer, more convenient method to prevent flooding and water inundation.

In 2017, EnviroMaster became the exclusive Australasian territory licensee for UK-based ARI Global Technologies Ltd’s patented TCCT technology. EnviroMaster also hold the first right of refusal for licensing opportunities in other global territories.
